The backlog of people waiting for PPS numbers is unacceptable and having a real impact on people’s ability to do a course, take up employment, get cars registered and much other necessary business. I welcome the Minister’s commitment to get this solved as soon as possible by engaging 200 extra staff and introducing some flexibility across departments.
