Sinn Féin won’t be giving up on this issue. Today, I asked Michael Noonan why the Government won’t collect the €13 billion due in Apple taxes and why they are appealing the decision. I wasn’t satisfied with his answers. He also told me that, so far, the lawyers’ fees in the appeal since September are €1.8 million! That’s 5 months- this appeal could last up to six years – time to be honest with taxpayers.
