Home help hours are crucial to keeping those suffering from dementia and other conditions out of hospital and in their community. We need to acknowledge the dreadful impact of previous home help cuts, especially in Mayo. We have seen the hardship that families have been placed in and must reverse all the cuts made by this Government and the previous one.
