Leo Varadkar was Minister for Health in 2014 when they stopped collecting and monitoring the data for non-compliance of consultants contracts. Why? Was he aware of this? Did he authorise it? A total of 44,864 public patients lost out to private patients in a two year period. How can this be justified. These are questions I put to Minister Simon Harris in today’s Health Committee Meeting.
