Teaching Principals’ Intolerable Admin Workload

The ever-increasing administrative workload on Teaching Principals is intolerable. These are educational leaders in their communities, many of them in rural areas. They are simply asking for administrative support once per week to make their combined teaching and school management duty schedule more realistic.

They have been promised some form of resolution for ten years, but none has been forthcoming. It would spell disaster for many schools if they were to leave there posts.

The Government must remedy this problem or reintroduce the Principal position as full-time.
