It’s not enough that the Minister thinks that the USI Student Accommodation Bill ‘makes alot of sense’. He needs to fully support it. Students are at the sharp end of the housing crisis, often on low-paid, part-time work and treated differently in the rental market – forced to pay months in advance without any protection. The fleecing of students has to stop.
