North Mayo begged for a Covid test centre …but never got one.
Belmullet in January had the highest Covid incidence rate – three times the national average – while this State had the highest incidence rate in the world. But yet, North Mayo was denied a test centre.
I welcome the new centres in Dublin & Tullamore, but it should not have taken a year to roll out self-referral mass testing.
